Relationships Building Brains: Readiness for Learning - Developing level

This course consists of four half day training sessions focusing on Personal, Social and Emotional Development. It is co-delivered by an Educational Psychologist and a member of the Advisory Team. It will deepen Practitioner understanding of how to support learning and behaviour effectively; there will be regular opportunities to engage in professional dialogue about outstanding early years practice; and the overarching principles of the EYFS and statutory requirements will be regularly referenced. The course is not part of the Training Subscription scheme and as such each place will cost £150.

Course Outline

This course will increase Early Years Teachers understanding of the following:

  • Attachment and early brain development
  • Quality interactions and the role of the Key Person
  • Supporting children's emotional development
  • Children's problem solving skills

This course is not part of the 2016/17 SfYC Training Subscription Scheme

You will be required to pay £150 per place at the time of booking
