This one day course explains the process and eligibility criteria to become a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and is recommended for those considering applying for preparation for assessment.

Support staff considering applying for a place on the Higher Level Teaching Assistant preparation for assessment course. May also be of interest to school leaders and CPD managers who wish to know more about the process

This one day course explains how Higher Level Teaching Assistant status is obtained, eligibility criteria and the application process.  It is recommended for those considering applying for preparation for assessment and priority will be given to candidates who have attended.

Delegates are supported in undertaking a self-analysis against the standards to establish if they are ready to apply for a place on the 3-day preparation course.

Delegates who discover they are not yet ready to apply leave with a detailed action plan which will enable them to develop the skills and experience they need.
