Ofsted Briefings for Headteachers and Governors
Are you due an Ofsted inspection? Have you ever led a school through an inspection or done so in recent years? These briefings are aimed at supporting all headteachers and governors in schools across all phases. Experience indicates that how senior leaders ‘manage’ the inspection process is crucial to achieving a successful outcome. The greatest benefit from the briefings will be gained if a headteacher and a governor, usually the chair, attend together. The briefings will clearly explain expectations of the Common Inspection Framework for both section 8 and section 5 inspections, provide handy tips to take back and an opportunity hear first hand from headteachers who have recently undergone an inspection and to ask questions.
